What Enfield concrete tends to need
Thompsonville grew around the Bigelow carpet mills, so the housing near the river is dense, older and often has a full basement under it that predates any thought of a vapor barrier. Further out toward Hazardville and the Somers line the lots open up and the garages get newer. The two halves need different conversations, and a basement here gets a moisture test before it gets a price.
There is a lot of warehouse and light industrial space along Route 5 and the I-91 interchanges. Those floors take forklift traffic and get a high build system specified to the load, not the residential flake build.
