What Avon concrete tends to need
A lot of Avon is built on grade, on lots that slope away from the road. That produces walk out basements and garages set at two different levels, and it produces the moisture question more often than a flat lot does. Water finds the low side of a slab, so on a sloping site the reading matters more than the square footage.
Larger homes here often have a finished lower level already. Coating a slab under an existing finished space is a different job from an empty basement, and the honest answer sometimes is that the floor is not the problem.
