Pricing

The number, before you pick up the phone.

Every floor we install is priced at $7 to $10 per square foot. Where you land inside that comes down to the shape your slab is in, and nothing else.

What it costs, before you call.

Every floor is priced at $7 to $10 per square foot installed. Tell it your size and the shape your slab is in and it will narrow that down.

  • Grinding, crack repair, flake to refusal and two topcoats are all in the number
  • The quote we hand you on site is fixed, and it does not move once work starts
  • Extras like cove base or stair treads appear as line items you can see
  • Jobs under 250 square feet are billed at 250, because the setup is the same

An estimate, not a quote. We measure on site, put the real number in writing, and it does not change afterwards.

What is in the price

  • Full diamond grindingThe whole slab taken back to open concrete. Not an edge pass.
  • Crack and spall repairChips, pits and control joints filled with polyurea and ground flat.
  • Polyurea basecoatOne full coat over the prepared slab.
  • Flake to full refusalBroadcast until the floor stops taking it, then scraped and vacuumed.
  • Two polyaspartic topcoatsUV stable, and the second one is not optional.
  • Cleanup and haul awayDust extraction throughout, and the debris leaves with us.

What moves it

  • Slab conditionHeavy spalling and deep cracking add prep time before anything can be coated.
  • An existing coatingOld epoxy or floor paint has to be ground off completely, which adds hours.
  • MoistureA basement that tests high needs a moisture tolerant primer under the build.
  • ExtrasCove base at the walls, stair treads, and anti slip additive for exterior work.
  • SizeAnything under about 250 square feet carries a minimum, because the setup is the same.

Questions about the money

Why publish a price when nobody else does?

Because the alternative wastes both of our time. If $7 to $10 a foot is not the range you had in mind, you find that out now instead of after an hour long appointment.

Is the quote you give on site fixed?

Yes. Once it is written it does not move. If we find something under an old coating that changes the scope, we stop and talk to you before doing anything, rather than adding it to the invoice.

Why is a hardware store kit so much cheaper?

Because it is a different product doing a different amount of work. A kit is a thin epoxy over an acid etched slab, with no grinding, no repair and no polyaspartic. It is a weekend and it looks good for a season or two.

Do you offer financing?

Ask at the quote. It depends on the size of the job, and we would rather tell you accurately on the day than promise something on a web page.
